Hi friends! I just want to let you know that my field director, Jim Hatcher, informed me that everything at the visa office went extremely well. Prior to today’s interaction with the woman working on my visa application process, Jim had talked to her on the phone to discuss what I still needed to turn in. At that time he had informed her of my health condition. Today when he went in person to turn in those documents this woman asked about my health. She was genuinely concerned with how I am doing. Who knows how God is already using this in Austria for His glory?!
They informed Jim that the next communication I would receive would be an invitation to pick up my visa. How great is that?! Once my visa is issued I will have six months to retrieve it in Vienna. I know that it is no crazy incidence that this is all coming together while battling follicular lymphoma. God knew all along. So with this situation I have some new specific requests:
β’ pray that I’ll receive my visa invitation and God’s timing will be so evident
β’ pray that God will lead to those team members I may not even know yet and open doors in raising that last 10% of monthly support (about $500)
β’ pray for the cancer to be gone and that my scan after my fourth chemo will knock socks off to the glory of God!
β’ pray for wisdom and discernment for me, my family and GEM as we have future conversations about my transition to Austria
To top it all off, you may remember that my health insurance expires at the end of June. The reason for that expiration is that I thought I would be leaving at the end of this month. About a week ago I received an e-mail asking me if I want to extend my coverage. I definitely want to, but wasn’t sure if I would be dropped because of my health condition. Well, today I received my new health insurance card in the mail extending my coverage. Yay! I’m overwhelmed with God’s blessings today. I hope you are too.
Tomorrow . . . blood counts. π
God is so good! Praying for you just as you have requested. Thank you for helping us know specific prayer needs! Blessings,

God is so faithful, I look forward to reading how He answers your prayers! π
God is so good. Yesterday, I read this great quote about how God's glory is the way he reveals Himself to us and through us. I see glory written in big, bold, bright letters all over this part of your journey. You inspire me all to bits. Thanks for letting us all pray along with you on this journey you're taking π
This is such great news, Krish! God's timing is amazing … and the ways in which He gains our dependence on Him. We're praying for you!
What is the latest? Good news on the blood counts?
