glory to God!

I made it through the night and all of today sick-free. Yay! I had my PET scan today at 6:45 a.m. Panera Bread at 8:30 and my Neulasta shot at 2:30. My PET scan results are back, but I still need to go over them with my oncologist. The information I have right now is very good showing that there are no abnormalities anywhere in my body like there was before. I would say that’s a clear scan! Praise God!

My mom is so excited that she missed our exit going home to Indiana from Louisville. She drove on the Gene Snyder until we ran out of road. ha! But now we are back home in Indiana and headed out to dinner to celebrate! Yay!

Thank you so much for your prayers through this journey! I have been overwhelmed with the sweetness of God’s blessings, especially through His people.

I know that I’ll still have my last chemo on Wed., July 7 and will meet with my oncologist then, but she may call me on the phone before that. When she does I’ll give you the full scoop! But so far all I can say is thank you Jesus! And . . . now I’m thinking it’s about time I go to Vienna and get my visa. 😉

Seize the day!

  1. I'm so excited . . . thrilled for you. May God continue to be glorified through your life. Thanks for sharing your journey with all of us. Dianne Collard

  2. Yay God!!! I love it when I get to your name in my prayer journal. Just thinking of you makes me smile every time (and I can't wait to write this news in there tomorrow!). I might be too excited to sleep now.
