Hi friends. I hope you’re having a great week! I just got back from a volleyball sectional game where I wore a blue wig. It was hilarious! Don’t worry I’ll post pictures soon.
Well, it seems that we’re again taking a few steps forward and a step back, with a recent $200 loss of monthly support. This puts us back at $600 of a monthly support need. It can feel at times that we’re constantly walking uphill, but remember that the opposition is strong because the need is sooo great! Please continue to join me in prayer!
The phrase, “Do not be discouraged!” Keeps coming to my mind. “Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:8-9)
Joshua was told not to be discouraged in the battle and to hold to the Book of the Law, God’s Word! May we do the same. Here’s how you can join me specifically in this battle:
Pray that God would provide through the many opportunities He has already given me in this last month to share and speak, that hearts would be prompted to join this monthly support team.
Pray that I would obey this command of not being discouraged, and continue to live expectantly of what our BIG God wants to do.
I’m still praying that this monthly support need would be met by November 1. I’m not sure that’s what God wants to do or how He wants to do it, but I’m still asking. God, move me out of the way, so You can do Your thing!
Pray Isaiah 40:31 – “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” I have to confess that I do tend to wait on this moment of being able to share with you that I’m actually leaving for Austria. I anticipate it and get excited about it! I was reminded of this after listening to a message this past Sunday. Pray that instead of waiting on that moment that I will wait in great anticipation and excitement on my God! Period.
Let’s see what God will do next . . .
