a fast and furious almost four weeks

Say that four times really fast! The last four weeks have been really great and have flown. There has been so much going on: GEM conference in Poland, maintenance chemo, preparation for an important German test, and then preparing to leave for gallbladder surgery.
Here’s a bit of a recap:
• Poland was an awesome time of connecting with others serving with Greater Europe Mission all over Europe. There were some powerful prayer times, teaching and times of worship. God stirred in my heart ways I need to invest in the lives of those I’m currently building relationships with, especially teen girls. It was such a refreshing time; a time to get excited again about what God wants to do in Austria and all over Europe.
• My maintenance chemo on August 9th was a bit of stressful day at first, but once some details were ironed out everything went well. A couple days later I was already feeling better and up and moving about cleaning my apartment.
• On August 18 I took my A2 Test. This covered German language learning from all of the classes I’ve taken (last four months). This test involves speaking, listening, reading and writing. During the speaking session the instructors complimented me for my grammar and level of speaking for the amount of schooling/classes of German I had completed. Go GOD!! I passed the entire test with 57 points out of 64 possible points. Yay!!! This was a huge relief, blessing and encouragement!
• Now here I am on August 22, the night before leaving for the US for gallbladder surgery. I ask your prayers for safe travel, for the details of my upcoming surgery (exact date, insurance, meeting with the surgeon on Aug. 25, surgery itself and recovery), and simply for the time back in the States. I have no idea what exactly it’s going to be like, what will surprise me and what God wants to say and do through my time there. I just pray that somehow He will continue to be glorified.
I will continue the summer photos from the other side of the pond. Gotta finish a few more things and then heading to bed! Hope you’re having a marvelous Monday!!
